Advanced Restoration Solutions for Corrosion-Prone Structures

Due to the severe degradation of this concrete structure, conventional concrete repairs were not suļ¬cient. In this case it was necessary to conduct a radar survey to determine concrete cover, and demolish any areas to the back of the rebar where cover was less than 75 mm. Following demolition, the rebar was grit blasted, additional reinforcing added where necessary, new concrete was poured with additional concrete cover, and our proprietary Electrochemical Chloride Extraction method was employed. Finally a coating was used to prevent further ingress of chloride ions
Our expertise has successfully restored structures housing vital equipment for sea water intake systems in mines. By addressing degradation's root cause and applying our specialized methods, we've ensured prolonged functionality, even in highly corrosive environments. Our track record underscores our commitment to excellence in fortifying concrete structures against corrosion-induced deterioration.
