Solution:
SLOPE STABILIZATION MINE PIT

Based on the design by the client's Geotechnical team, Vector worked together with the client to install, grout and tension “passive” post tensioned cable bolts in groups of 4, either 25 or 50 meters long, depending on the depth of the fault. The cables provide a combination of posttensioning force and prevent or significantly slow the wall movement, minimizing the risk of slope.

RESULT

The structure was successfully repaired without the need to take it out of service, allowing uninterrupted dewatering activities. The solution provided long-term benefits, ensuring the structure's durability and extending its lifespan. The success of this solution demonstrates the team's expertise in addressing complex challenges, delivering effective and lasting results.
